(formerly Statistical Learning for Signal Processing Lab.) Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Lab. was established under the guidance of Professor Chang D. Yoo in 1999, the year he arrived at KAIST. Using various machine learning theories and novel signal processing techniques, signals such as image, text, speech, audio, video, EEG and financial data are processed for longstanding and emerging applications.

In this year, AIM lab has 6 new master students. Welcome to our AIM lab!!
The master students in our AIM lab(Hyunwoo Nam, Ohchul Kwon, Minsu Kim, Hyojung Han, Fei Pan) graduates in this February. Congratulations to all graduating students!!
AIM lab participated in AI worldcup competition. AIM lab won 3rd place in AI worldcup competition. The participants were Seongjin Cho, Junyeong Kim, Sunghun Kang...
On Nov. 1st, our AIM lab established VTT-AI center. VTT-AI center will research AI technology to pass the Visual Turing Test very successfully.
